Why we are selling shares

Sports teams don't work without the community. It's imperative that the team supports the community and in turn is supported by the community. We value the history of Kafer field, and would like to see it rebuilt to showcase its history as well as providing a unique fan experience for those visiting our ballpark. In order to maximize our ability to revitalize Kafer, and inspired by the Green Bay Packers business model of community ownership*, we are announcing a sale of shares in the Southpaws. Money raised from the sale of shares will go towards enhancing Kafer field with grandstands, enhanced concessions, and potentially a small stadium. We plan to build a more professional atmosphere into the field and hope to eventually build out additional facilities to enhance the training of our players during the season and help local players train for the rest of the year. We want to build out a year-round calendar to engage and support the community and this fundraising drive will give us the capacity to do so for years to come. *Note - As a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, it hurts to give the Packers credit for anything, but they are a phenomenally run sports franchise.
