Bobby Griffin

Assistant Coach

Bobby was born and raised in the Jasper/Spring Garden community of New Bern, NC.  He fell in love with baseball at the age of 9 and have never let it go.  That journey took him from being a player from Vanceboro Little League to West Craven Middle and High School all the way to the coaching ranks.  Bobby began coaching baseball in 2005 at West Craven High and also had stints at West Craven Middle prior to being named Head Baseball coach this past season at Jones Senior High School.  When he is not coaching, he serves as Athletic Director at his school in addition to spending time with Kelly, his wife of 5 years, daughter Adalynn, and dogs Thor and Aila.  Find him on the baseball diamond or the golf course this summer! Woody DelCorso

Owner
Message

This is Woody's first year as an Owner of the Southpaws. He grew up playing a ton of sandlot baseball with the neighborhood boys. His Mom took him on many vacations across the country to see the Cardinals, Red Sox, Orioles, Rockies, Cubs, as well as to Spring Training and Cooperstown. He's excited to be part of the team and to learn more about New Bern.
